From India to Salem

Mint Leaf Indian Bistro was born from a simple belief: that food is the most profound expression of culture. Our story begins with Chef Jodhvir Singh, who honed his craft earning a Culinary Diploma in India before bringing his talents to the United States.

Starting his career at Tantra, a prestigious upscale restaurant in Los Angeles, Chef Jodhvir eventually relocated to Portland, where he opened two successful restaurants Urban Masala at Hillsboro OR and CHAAYA - Beaverton, Oregon. Now, he brings his 17 years of culinary passion to Salem, Oregon.

We don't just serve food; we serve history. Every dish on our menu is a carefully curated chapter from India's vast culinary encyclopedia, reimagined for the modern palate without losing its soul. We source our spices directly from single-estate farms and our produce from local organic farmers who share our commitment to quality.
